The Style Merchant Salon, Spa & Boutique is growing, and we’re looking for a talented, motivated hairstylist who is passionate about their craft and excited to build a long-term career in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Located in the heart of downtown Yarmouth overlooking the harbour, our salon offers a beautiful workspace, a loyal client base, and ongoing opportunities to grow professionally while working alongside a collaborative and creative team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a full range of professional hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, treatments, and special occasion styling

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences that encourage retention and referrals

• Recommend professional home care to support client results

• Stay current with trends, techniques, and continuing education

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Contribute positively to a supportive team culture

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Nova Scotia Cosmetology License

• Strong technical skills and confidence behind the chair

• A stylist who is reliable, motivated, and career-focused

• A team player who enjoys working in a professional salon environment

• Passion for client relationships and long-term clientele growth
